The dynamics in diagnostic imaging tenders and funding

Reimbursement, access, competition and purchasing are highly dynamic in the diagnostic imaging technology field: The EU is driving updates to and expansion of oncology screening policies, new AI products are changing the workflow and precision in imaging, and reimbursement of diagnostics become more closely intertwined with treatment. At the same time, the imaging field sees competition from other innovative diagnostics (e.g. IVDs), and steadily increasing expectations for product features and services.

Based on Cube RM‘s tender management data, we collaborated to put together insights into imaging technology tenders across Europe and how the reimbursement of these diagnostic procedures is evolving.
